About Us
SERIOUS SAILING, SERIOUS FUN
An affordable, athletic, and tactical boat sailed in 30 countries, the Snipe Class offers National, Continental, and World Championships for all-women's teams.
Women's events are competitive, but fun on and off the water. The average weight for women's teams is around 130 kg/285 lbs. An experienced Snipe crew (tripulante) is invaluable on the Snipe. Historically, the Snipe attracts women from the Radial, Europe Dinghy, 470, and keelboat classes.

The Women's World Championship is held every other year, with last thee editions in Sāo Paulo, Brazil, Valencia, Spain and Enoshima, Japan, with 40 boats on the starting line.
Italy will host the next Women's World Championship in Trieste, Italy. The host club will be Triestina della Vela.
The Women's World Championship is an open event. Teams do not need to qualify. Skipper and crew can be from differnt countries. All ages and level of experience are welcome.
