Competitor may choose to fly into two airports.  Miami International Airport (MIA) is 15 - 30 mins. from Sailing Center depending on traffic. Ubers from the airport cost around $12 - $17 dollars.  Fort Lauderdale International Airport is 30 mins. - 1 hour from the Sailing Center depending on traffic.  An Uber costs around $40 to Miami.  There are also two trains - the Metrorail takes around 1.5 hours and requires a transfer.  It costs $3.75.  The Brightline train, requires a short Uber ride from the airport to the train station ($5) and then a 30 minute direct ride to Downtown Miami ($15).  The closest station for both trains is 2.2 km (1 mile) from the Sailing Center.

Organizers

WILL SAIL ANYWHERE ANYTIME

Kathleen Tocke & Charlie Bess organized the 2018 Women's World Championship in Newport and manage the Snipe and Star Fleets in Miami.  Both are skipper and crew and have raced in numerous Snipe Women's Worlds.  They have both raced in the Olympic Classes, race in open/mixed Snipe events, but love the fun atmosphere of women's Snipe regattas, which attract friends from all different classes.
